A gift deed is a legally binding document used when one person wishes to give a gift to another without exchanging money. The person who gives the gift (owner) is known as a donor, and the person who receives the gift (receiver) is known as a donee.

DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR GIFT DEED
  • The original gift deed will be carried out.
  • Another document certifying Ready Reckoner Value and other documents may be required according to state requirements.
  • The landowner and builder enter into a joint development agreement, GPA, and sharing/supplementary agreement.
  • Original Sale Deed of the property.
  • PAN card of both the parties to execute Gift Deed.
  • Encumbrance Certificate
  • You need 2 witnesses at the time of execution of Gift Deed.
